Historic Spaces demand our respect. This client’s apartment is in a building that was designed in 1929. The big challenge was changing the apartment from one whose air conditioning was provided by window units to one that has central air throughout.

This became the focus (function) that consumed all parties involved.  Gretchen along with architect Marc Landow designed spaces that speak to the necessary function and unique aesthetic of the client.  The Master Dressing room includes a treadmill and the original Maid’s room now serves as a home office and guest room where the fabulous Italian Murphy bed serves as both a desk and a bed!
