Historic Spaces need special attention. The hand-painted Kitchen ceiling was done by architect-designer Herman Rosse.   (In 1923 Rosse moved with his family to New City in Rockland County, New York.). Because it is so magnificent the client expressed the desire to keep the cabinetry & countertops in the Kitchen more as ‘background’ to the colorful masterpiece.  Gretchen and the contractor, Michael DeMarco both intent listeners, delivered.  The team returned to complete a Mudroom Bath & Master Bath renovation with designs that enhance the existing architecture and transform the spaces.
